San Francisco Theological Seminary
in San Anselmo, California. North Country slate was chosen to replace existing
natural slate roofs that had sheltered these beautiful structures for over 100 years. The requirement to provide both
British Standard BS680 and North American ASTM C406 test data was easily met by our North Country Unfading
Black. The restoration professionals involved in the project were concerned with the dramatic color changes and pyrite
rust streaking evident in another nearby religious building which had recently been reroofed with an imported
"unfading" black slate. North Country Black's true unfading color properties and quality fabrication made it the
choice of the decision-makers. Over 200 squares of slate for this project was shipped from stock.
