in Temple, Texas. This was a reroofing project with a very demanding delivery
timetable and critical challenges imposed by the severe weather conditions in the region. The original Spanish slate
roof had been pounded off by a hailstorm and replaced by an artificial slate that failed in less than ten years.
The building owner wanted a natural slate roof, but required assurance that their new roof would have a longer life
expectancy than the previous two. North Country Slate gave expert installation advice, based on British standards,
and shipped the entire 650 squares of North Country Unfading Black slate from stock.
